Bright Pearl Academy, founded in 2009, is dedicated to nurturing students' academic and artistic excellence. The Academy offers an inclusive approach to Chinese Mandarin, professional dance training, and coding. Our students have earned awards in speech, visual arts, STEM, and dance competitions, and many have advanced to top private high schools and leading colleges. The teachers at Bright Pearl are passionate about education and strive every day to impart an excitement about learning to our students.
Afterschool Program
Students will develop their Mandarin language skills in a fun and productive environment. Extracurricular activities cover the spectrum of traditional arts such as art and dance.
Dance Program
Bright Pearl’s Dance Program is the centerpiece of the Academy. The program provides talented and dedicated dancers with professional training and outstanding performance opportunities. The program is composed of two divisions, Dance Troupe and Dance Competition Company Team. The program is led by Artistic Director Joanna Jin (周娜). Ms. Jin believes that the study of dance instills in the students passion for the art and spirit for creating beauty in the coordinated motion of dance. A young person may realize a healthy balance of mind and body, and achieve an underlying confidence, elegance, spirit of cooperation, and cheerful disposition through dance. With the goal of achieving advanced artistry, dancers develop beautiful, intricate, and precise dance movements through choreography incorporating various dance forms.
