Joanna Jin

Director/Chinese Dance

Na (Joanna) Jin is the founder and artistic director at Bright Pearl Dance. She received her Master's Degree of Dance in Higher Education at New York University, and she has studied with some of the most prestigious dance artists in China since she was six. She also gained her Bachelor's Degree in Dance Performance at the Central University for Nationalities. In addition, she has received numerous awards and recognitions in both national and international dance competitions. Na Jin is currently a member of the National Dance Education Organization and has taught dance classes at the China Institute in NYC. A mater teacher and adjudicator for national dance competitions, and festivals, Joanna brings extensive experience in organizing and leading dance workshops. Most recently, she served as a judge for the 2025 Pan America Taoli Cup North American Finals.

rachel linksy

Rachel Linsky

Contemporary

Rachel Linsky is a Boston-based contemporary dancer, choreographer, and educator. She holds a B.F.A. in Dance from Elon University where she graduated summa cum laude. Rachel has presented her choreographic work at venues throughout Boston including the Boston Center for the Arts, the New England Conservatory, The Huntington Theater, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Additionally, she has also presented dance films in national and international festivals such as Earl Mosely's Diversity of Dance "Dance is Activism Film Festival", Prague International Film Festival, and many more. Rachel was one of the 2022-23 JArts and CJP Community Creative Fellows, and is currently a member of the 2023-24 Next Steps for Boston Dance cohort. Her work has been award funding by the New England Foundation for the Arts, The City of Boston, The Russell J. Efros Foundation, The Beker Foundation, The Boston Foundation, and Combined Jewish Philanthropies. In addition to choreography, Rachel dances professionally with KAIROS Dance Theater and teachers contemporary, ballet, and Yiddish folk dance throughout the Boston area.

Teresa Fardella

Ballet

Teresa Fardella, a New Orleans native, has trained and performed with Jefferson Ballet Theater, Ballet Hysell, Loyola Ballet, and D'Project. Her most memorable performances are West Side Story, La Bayadere, and A Midsummer Night's Dream. Her choreography has been shown with D'Project, Lelia Haller's The Nutcracker, Storytellers Dance Project and OnStage Dance Company. Upon moving to Boston in 2019, she has performed with Urban Nutcracker, OnStage Dance Company, teXtmoVes, Saving Grace Dance Ensemble, and Safe Haven Ballet. With Saving Grace Dance Ensemble, she had the opportunity to perform Jose Limon's "There was a Time" at the Ailey Studios in NYC. She is currently a ballet director at In Sync Center of the Arts and company member with Saving Grace Dance Ensemble.

Chinese Dance

Ms. Li is an accomplished dance artist with extensive experience. She graduated from Beijing Normal University with a major in Dance Choreography, and she also has served as a principal dancer with the National Ballet of China and the China National Opera & Dance Drama Theater. She was also a member of the China Oriental Performing Arts Group. Ms. Li specializes in teaching Chinese classical and folk dance. With her solid artistic foundation and rich stage experience, she pays special attention to students' artistic expression during the learning process, helping them continuously improve their dance technique. She has also performed in many important productions and events, including the National People's Congress, the China-Africa Cooperation Forum, and the UN International Organization Summit. Representative works include Blessing (吉祥礼赞), Mystical Journey (秘境之旅), Hello, Xiaoping! (小平你好!), Marco Polo (马可波罗), and Goodbye, My Love (再见吧!亲爱的).
