He is a 1st Place winner in the ACSL Coding Competition and a Robotics New England Champion, with work published in AI research journals. Known for his ability to break down complex concepts into simple, easy-to-follow steps, he keeps students engaged through fun, hands-on, project-based learning that builds both confidence and creativity.

Chen Jin serves as an Advisory Board Member for the After-School STEM Division, advising on programs designed to help students build practical, future-ready skills. A Cornell University graduate in Mechanical Engineering and an MIT MBA, he brings deep experience in technology, innovation, and business. He supports curriculum development that strengthens problem-solving, critical thinking, and creativity, empowering students to explore STEM with confidence and purpose.
Cynthia Zhou

Cynthia Zhou is an Advisory Board Member for the After-School STEM Division, bringing a deep passion for STEM education. She holds a PhD in Systems Engineering from George Washington University and is a parent of two children who excel in STEM. Cynthia advises on curriculum design that inspires students to explore hands-on projects, develop research topics, and engage in creative problem-solving, nurturing both skills and curiosity from an early age.
